The Woodstock STR Association is a coalition of Woodstock residents, business owners, tradespeople, and supporters advocating for a rational, consistent, and well-informed policy regulating Short Term Rentals (STRs) in the Town of Woodstock, New York.

Our members include part-time residents who own single-family homes and want to rent them out short-term, as well as owners and employees of local businesses which rely on revenue from overnight visitors to Woodstock.

We all have close ties to Woodstock and want to protect and enhance the quality of life in this special place. We believe there are equitable solutions that address the Town’s need for visitor accommodations to support local businesses, and home-owners’ need for income to maintain their homes, while also addressing concerns about quality-of-life and affordable housing, and providing much-needed revenue to the Town.

We want to work collaboratively with the Town to institute policies that will ensure a sustainable, long-term ability to operate STRs while preserving and enhancing the community at large.
